Our story, our people, our commitment to quality
Jersey Fabrication Group was founded in March 2017 by Kevin Moretti, a second-generation machinist who grew up around CNC machines in his father's garage shop in Paterson. After 15 years working for larger contract manufacturers in North Jersey, Kevin saw an opportunity to build something better—a shop that combined old-school craftsmanship with modern CNC technology.
We started in a 3,000 square foot bay on Van Houten Avenue with two Haas mills, a manual lathe, and three employees. Within two years, we outgrew that space and moved to our current 18,000 square foot facility on Clifton Blvd.
Today, we're a team of 30+ skilled machinists, engineers, and support staff serving customers across the aerospace, defense, medical device, and industrial sectors. We've invested heavily in multi-axis CNC equipment, quality systems, and our people.
We're not the biggest shop in New Jersey. But we believe we're one of the best at what we do: delivering precision machined parts on time, every time, with zero excuses.
Kevin Moretti — Owner & President
Kevin brings over 20 years of manufacturing experience. He started as an apprentice machinist and worked his way up through programming, engineering, and shop management before founding JFG. He's a hands-on owner who still walks the shop floor daily.
Maria Salinas — VP of Operations
Maria joined JFG in 2018 and oversees day-to-day operations, scheduling, and customer delivery. She previously managed operations for a 60-person aerospace machine shop in Wayne, NJ.
Douglas Fenn — Controller
Doug manages the company's finances, purchasing, and vendor relationships. He joined in 2019 after a decade in accounting for mid-size manufacturing firms.
